Modern Staffing is seeking qualified Assembler II candidates for a manufacturing company in the New Braunfels, TX area:
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this position is to assemble door management security products, circuit boards, wires and units and perform other assembly related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Read process sheets and assemble boards and units for standard and custom orders.
- Assemble door management security products using various parts, such as electronic components, printed circuit boards, covers, plates, boxes, screws, nuts, and wires.
- Operate and use various machines, hand tools, small power tools, voltage meters and testing equipment to assemble and test products.
- Strip and wrap wires.
- Solder parts and wires to units.
- Insert small component parts and/or wiring into printed circuit boards.
- Set up and maintain a well-organized work area.
- Package products and prepare for shipping.
- Maintain departmental records and logs.
- Work from samples, drawings, blueprints and/or written and verbal instructions.
- Follow safe working practices and properly wear personal protective equipment as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- One year of production/soldering related work is preferred.
- Ability to read and work from basic blueprints and drawings
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to distinguish colors for color coding practices
- Valid Texas driver’s license required.

- Ability to understand and work with mechanical systems, machinery, and devices such as hand tools and small power tools, including soldering iron.
- Ability to perform detailed repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to lift and/or carry 20 to 30 lbs. and push or pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally and/or frequently.
- Work involves frequent periods of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning and reaching or bending at the waist.

Monday - Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM
PAY RATE:
$16.34/hr.
