Modern Staffing is seeking a qualified Pump System Technician for a local manufacturing company in San Marcos, Tx:
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this position is to build pump systems according to company standards by following drawings provided, test system, label system, have inspection done by Production Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Build pump system stations with PVC fittings
- Able to work with hand tools, and general machining tools.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by following take-off/drawings, gathering parts and sub-assemblies.
- Ability to resolve problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Document actions by filling out pre-fight check lists, motor test reports, and O&M manuals list.
- Maintain supplies and inventory by alerting Material Handler of low levels.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment
- Contributes to team effort by supporting other team members.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED). 3 years of PVC Piping experience REQUIRED.
- Must have previous plumbing experience
- Ability to work from drawings provided
- Ability to follow all instructions, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
- Must have great problem-solving skills

SHIFT:
Monday - Friday – 8 hr. shift
PAY RATE:
$20.00/hr.
